Privacy Policy

This policy explains the information Currelo processes, why we use it, and the choices available to you when you use our social publishing workspace.

Effective September 11, 2026 Version 2026-09-11

1. Who this policy covers

Currelo provides tools for teams to plan social content, collaborate, connect eligible social accounts, publish at a user's direction, and review available performance information. In this policy, “Currelo,” “we,” and “us” mean the Currelo service. “You” means a visitor, account holder, or authorized member of a workspace.

This policy applies to our website, application, and support interactions. Social networks you connect to Currelo are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.

2. Information we collect

Account and workspace information

We collect the information you provide to create and use an account, such as your name, email address, login and verification details, workspace membership, role, and preferences.

Content and activity you choose to add

We process the drafts, captions, media, comments, approvals, schedules, and other workspace information that you or your team add to Currelo. We also record service activity needed to operate the workspace, such as creation, editing, publishing, and access events.

Connected social-account information

When an authorized user connects a social account, we receive the information and permissions that the network makes available for the approved connection. Depending on the network and granted permissions, this can include account or profile identifiers, profile details, Page or organization roles, publishing permissions, posts and publishing results, and available insights or metrics. We retain connection credentials only to operate the features you enable and protect them using restricted access and encryption controls.

Device, log, and security information

We automatically receive limited technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, pages or features used, session records, and error or security events. This helps us operate, secure, and improve the service.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • create and secure accounts and administer workspaces;
  • store, display, and enable collaboration on your content;
  • retrieve data from, and send publishing requests to, a connected social network when an authorized user asks us to do so;
  • show publishing status and the analytics or insights available through a connected network;
  • respond to support requests and communicate about the service;
  • detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our terms; and
  • understand and improve the reliability and usability of Currelo.

Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we process information to provide the service you request, meet legal obligations, protect legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, or with consent where required.

4. How information is shared

We do not sell personal information or use connected social-account data for advertising unrelated to Currelo. We share information only as needed to operate the service, including with:

  • members of your workspace, according to the roles and access they have been granted;
  • connected social networks, when an authorized user requests a connection, data retrieval, or publishing action;
  • service providers that host, secure, support, or operate Currelo, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms;
  • professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the security of Currelo; and
  • a successor organization if Currelo is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or transfer of assets, subject to this policy or notice of material changes.

5. Connected social accounts

Currelo accesses connected accounts through the authorization flow provided by each social network. We use that access only to provide the connection, publishing, and analytics features you or your workspace enable. We do not receive your social-network password.

You can disconnect an account from Currelo's connection settings or revoke Currelo's access in the relevant social network's settings. Disconnecting stops future Currelo actions for that connection; content or records already created in Currelo may remain until they are deleted or our retention period ends.

6. Retention and your choices

We keep personal information for as long as your account or workspace is active and afterward only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including security, dispute resolution, legal obligations, and legitimate business records. The amount and type of data, the context of the request, and applicable law inform that period.

You may request access, correction, export, restriction, objection, or deletion of personal information, where applicable law provides those rights. Workspace members should first contact their workspace administrator for information controlled by that workspace. To make a request directly to Currelo, email privacy@currelo.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. Deleting an account or workspace may not remove information that we must retain by law or for legitimate security purposes.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Currelo uses necessary cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember essential preferences, and protect the service. We do not use advertising cookies in the service. You can control cookies through your browser, although blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of Currelo from working.

8. Security and international processing

We use measures designed to protect information, including encrypted transport, access controls, session protections, credential encryption, logging safeguards, and rate limiting. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use strong, unique credentials and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Currelo and our providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

9. Children and changes to this policy

Currelo is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone under the age required to independently consent to online services in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We may update this policy as Currelo or applicable law changes. We will post the updated version and change its effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where required.
